(no subject)
Hey! I'm sitting in our holiday cottage looking out over the Loch so I thought I'd let you all know that I'm having a wonderful time so far! Yesterday we were lucky enough to get fantastic weather all day so we spend most of it walking in the sun. Today has still been okay, weather-wise - had a few showers but it stayed dry this morning for our main walk and then we had a nice drive as well. The cottage is really beautiful - I'll take some photos for when I get around to uploading stuff. Only niggle so far is that we're having trouble getting hot water today which means a)no showers today and b)no heating. But they're trying to sort something out for us (might struggle getting an electrician out on a Sunday, though.) But something like that can't be helped and we have layers and it's not exactly freezing so we'll be fine!
I'm going to sit and do some beta-reading for a little bit now and then try some writing, hoping the view gives me some inspiration! (I used the icon - made for me by midnighthour) because the bright colours are beautiful and it seemed apt)
