Yesterday, an awesome thing happened. I met up with a friend that I met through fandom for the first time ever :) trollmela , I had a great time yesterday and it was so lovely to meet you and show you around (part of) my city. *hugs*
A not so awesome thing happened yesterday as well. You know that Leverage season three dvd I was waiting for that had finally arrived? Well, my Mum and I sat down to watch The Studio Job, got about five minutes from the end of the episode and it started jumping. Turns out the disc is defective; there's a crack in the side of it that we found. So Mum's going to have to email the place where we got it from and see if they'll send another one out which means more waiting!
I decided not to go out with my English class next week. The meal is happening on Brownie night and they're already short-staffed that night. Plus a few people in the class just decided where everyone was going without voting or anything like that plus the place they chose is stupid because you can't pre-book and it's usually very hard to get a table. So, yeah, I'm going to help at the Brownies instead. I figure with everything else I have coming up, missing one event isn't going to be the end of the world.
Haha, I'm just on Twitter and Beth Riesgraf is getting absolutely flooded with RT and shoutout requests from all over the world. It's quite amusing watching all the RTs appear on my timeline.
I still haven't seen K yet. He still hasn't really bothered to get in touch (aside from one quick text asking whether or not I was in school, which I wasn't.) Guys. Seriously.
Also, I realise I've been a terrible lj friend recently. I feel like I haven't commented on any posts in ages and I hate that. I'm sorry. Things will get back to normal around here, soon! I'll understand if anyone wants to defriend, though.
I want to write, really want to write, but I guess I should revise instead. Bring on Saturday!!!! End of exams and the start of a week where I have nothing to do but read and write and watch tv and just chill. *grins*
