(no subject)
I've had such a good day today!! My Mum and I went into town and possibly spent a bit much, but we had fun doing it :)
I got a new kaftan and some shorts for my holiday this August, we're going to Greece for a week. We kind of went back to the tills three different times in that shop. Every time we went to leave we saw something else that we liked!
Then, in the spirit of Rising Con, we went and had some Tapas for lunch. The meal was gorgeous, and we got 50% off as well so it was really reasonable.
And then we went and bought some sandals. Mine are a tan, gladiator-ish style and I also got 25% off a bag when I bought them, so I got a new bag that matched them as well.
Oooh, we also got some DVDs for my Grandad for Father's Day. They're box-sets of a documentary about WW2; I honestly think I'm more excited about them than he will be! I've become such a history geek over the past year or so :)
The only thing that sucked about today is my back. For the past couple of days it's been really sore, my hip's hurting as well - think it must be connected. We were supposed to be going out for a long day at the coast tomorrow but we've had to cancel because I don't think I'll be able to sit in the car long enough. Just hope it gets better soon!
Oh, another thing that was bad - HMV didn't have my Supernatural DVD!! I had a £5 off voucher and everything :( Going to order it online instead.
But yeah, apart from that it was awesome. My beta sent me back some of my The Bill challenge fic this morning so I've got that to get on with as well as the spn prompt fics and the multi-chap one. Plus there are all the Big Bang fics to read :)
