Auf Wiedersehen, Chukotka (or whatever "goodbye" is in Russian)
Vish has resigned as governor of Chukotka again, the difference being that this time Medvedev accepted his resignation and he is now a free man. He now has no political duties in Russia.
The reports are basically the same in every newspaper, so we might as well have the Novosti one, which for us shallow people carries the considerable benefit of a little photo gallery. My favourite, as you can probably see, is the reminder of that bizarre occasion on which he dressed up as a butcher at the Polyarny Food Complex.
