I got back from puerto rico on friday arriving at my house at 6 pm after leaving my hotel room at 9 am. I would have arrived earlier but my flight was taxing around for over an hour and when I arrived the car service decided that they didn't want to look up my flight and just left me there. So I was forced to get cash and take the taxi home. I went to sleep and woke up late afternoon the next day.
I went to steakfeast on Saturday night and had 2-24oz steaks (24 has less fat than the 48 oz steak) a bowl of chili, and a mouse cake. It was nice seeing people I haven't seen in a while (Ryan, Rob, Rob, Ed, etc).
This morning at 6 am I left my house to fly back to Puerto Rico, this time driving myself to the airport. I have to admit it is much less of a hassle not having to depend on someone else to pick me up. Before boarding on the airplane I met this cute Indian chick and actually switched seats with someone (giving up my spacious exit row seat) so that I could sit with her. It was funny she didn't have to tell me much about her cause I could figure it out already - u can judge how many shoes a girl has by the type of shoes she wears, etc. So I was amused. According to her she thought that I was lying about not having a girlfriend instead thinking I have a few. (why do people think that?) No, I didn't get her number for those of you who are asking cause she'll be in the island of Domingo for the next few years in med school.
I then got off the airplane, picked up my car, and drove to my hotel room to get 1 hour of sleep in. Woke up, went to work, had dinner with a colleague, and I am going to be working till 1:30 am. The great part is that he said I don't have to get in tomorrow till 5pm (I plan to be in at about 2 or 3 to take care of other business) so I will go the pool, the beach, the gym, and the coffee shop. Thinking about it, this is my ideal schedule, workout enjoy the day then work till late at night. I feel more productive this way.
