Ineeresting factoid I heard on the news yesterday: One in thirty-two people in the US are either in prison or on parole or probation (what kind of probation, i wonder?). I found that to be pretty incredible. I wonder what the percentage would be if all the defendants awaiting trial and those who have served their sentences would be. I guess you can't count defendants because they are innocent until proven otherwise.
I am working on my final day of load out, on a coffee break right now. Unfortunately, the gentleman making things disappear has only brought one small trailer to load up. This will be a number of trips then. We have one load done and a second ready to go. Just gotta wait for the trailer to come back. Hopefully this day will be the last gasps of Surplus Equipment 2003. Of course, we already have plans for Sanford and Sons 2004. :-P Hopefully someone else will lead it up. I enjoy coming out here, but my skills could be better utilized elsewhere. Someone else needs to do penance.
Currently watching the price is right . It's almost like being in college again. *grin* This lady is about to bid on a package including a motorcycle. She does not look like the type to ride. She looks like a young grandma. :-) D'oh. Think she super overbid it. I was so right.
Sigh. The equipment guy is going to be late. I guess he's trying to actually offload this stuff now with a scrapyard. Hmm. *snooze*
