To the Future!
What an opportunity! Fox found out today about a program for professionals to get their masters degree in engineering at UT for one weekend a month over two years. I told him that it sounds like going into the reserves but having those two weeks a year to ourselves. For those of you that don’t know, I have been wanting to pursue an advanced degree for some time now. Advanced Manufacturing (part of the ME program) sounds like just the kind of think I am looking for. I may still have very little goals as far as the future goes, not sure what I would do with the degree. It does sound like fun though (somehow more so than engineering management). I wonder whom I should ask for recommendations into the program?
Also today, have been coming to the realization that I have only one weekend before we have a pet sitter here to overfeed the cats while we visiting my family. Should I be confident in our abilities to get the house straightened out by then? Perhaps we should start painting to make it worse but have an excuse to have things all over the house? As chaotic as it is, it’s still the best as it has been since we inherited a house full of stuff to add to our own.
So sleepie.... time to call it a night.
