Still No Christmas Shopping Done
Today's objective instead was to finally make a decision on our bathroom accessories (such as the towel rack and paper towel holder). We have been living with a mismatched set as pieces have worn out over the past few years. I am glad that we put it off though because we found a set that was on clearance and coordinated well with all finishes and styles. After visiting every Linens n' Things in town, we are the proud owners of a complete set of brushed nickel finished pyramid-based accessories. Wee hoo. After two days of shopping without finding much, I am beat. It's tough to keep up with the season's materialism when we are so busy with aquiring life-sustaining and required-to-make-the-contractors-go-away-without-blaming-us-for-the-hold-ups things.
Needless to say, I visited my favorite store... It makes me a bit sad to go through the ornaments and place them in boxes when we will not be decorating. Actually, I can be consoled by the notion that this way I will get to enjoy them briefly regardless.
