Still Waiting ...
Because of schedule collisions yesterday, our tile folks were supposed to be here the morning. In lieu of the usual outings I am shredding documentation of my past life, 1998 and 1999 to be exact. I am suprised this box made it through the previous purges of past. I need to make the space so that I can put together a research box. I'll be placing my magazine articles in there, info on Japan, herbs, contractors, anime, quilting, decking and Fredericksburg. I have to do something to bring order to the piles I have collected.
For a change, we watched some football last night. Louisana Tech was on TV for once. I didn't end up staying awake for most ofthe second half, but they won against a ranked team, so that was happy. Not that it makes too much of a difference to me. I cared, but I had to recover from all of the traveling and wacky sleep schedules. I am feeling better today, if a bit grouchy for not telling contractors off last night. I should have let them have it for showing up to do something completely unprepared. I still want to know how they were going to put in the tub when they did not bring the materials for the deck and plumbing fixtures. Really... I figure that I am destined to drain off the rest of my four days of vacation before traveling for Christmas. I don't even know how to request unpaid leave.
