It has come to my attention today as i was driving that SOME followers of Indie are currently sporting, and thinking its cool to do so, hair styles that I have attempted painstakingly to avoid all my life.......

Not keen on the new PS, well, the newer stuff they did anyway - didn't they split ? - as it just sounded messy to me and a bit to cheesey-popp-ified (just a personal thing as I remember back in'ta'day down t'pit listenin t'pit-pony clompin' round as all us miners sang "To Die is Gain".)
Incubus new stuff ain't too bad, just more mellow, good background music for reading too but naff to groovy too.
Revolting Cocks are ace, prefer Ministry to them personally, but defo with ya on the NIN being over-rated, just a bunch of cheeseyness that went on for about 6 albums to long. Take the best songs, put 'em on one album and that shoulda been it. Condense their career into 13 tracks and then get rid. The last album that people waited like 6 years for (or whatever) was shite - like listening to an abortion whilst being force-fed a vomit enema and being kicked in the balls - suffice to say I didn't like it and wasn't impressed. Trent Reznor's just a slow-ass hick redneck who happened to find a niche and exploit it with the help of P&R men, publishers etc ....
