so the new years shift in some atrocious studio 54 garb, followed by oysters, octopus and champagne at katherines place in her pool in the early hours of 2007. we ferried to rottnest the same day and spent 3 cold/ windswept but relaxing days on the yacht and eating pies at the bakery before ferrying home yesterday, my parents were reluctant to vacate the boat, so the first night was spent with them, which was initially uncomfortable but enjoyable in the end - food cooked, beers in the ice box. anyway. 4 closes later i'll be back over there with mates drinking tinnies and eating steak.
