So now we are in Koh Samad. Just 200 kilometers from Bangkok in the Gulf of Thailand, the T-shaped island of Ko Samet is famed for its white sandy beaches, exotic coral and crystal clear waters. The island is typified for its splendid beaches and white silky sand, surrounded by tropical coral reefs and crystal clear sea.

Once we all woke up we got up and decided to figure out how to get onto the residential part of the island. We quickly gave all our clothes to get laundered for a few bucks and then headed towards the beach. We walked around for awhile, checked out one hostel after the next, and then finally around 4pm we sat down for breakfast. The fruit and the shakes were so amazing, all I could think was that I am really going to enjoy staying here. We finally came across a place called jep’s bungalow and decided it would be a nice place for us to stay. So we put down a deposit and then headed back across the beach to get our bags. Here’s more info about this amazing place http://www.booking.com/hotel/th/jep-s-bungalows.en.html?aid=311088;label=jep-s-bungalows-nYoe5zYq9giZTUTnpt_bpAS7522900923;ws=&gclid=CISpnNjih6sCFWIRNAodIT7u0A

So we went back to grab our stuff, took the long walk across the beach and decided to take a nap before dinner. When we got up for dinner we decided to go to jeps place. Not only did he have a place to stay but there was this amazing restaurant right across from us. We sat down and ordered almost one of everything, lots of shish kebabs, and veggies, and rice and drinks. While eating we saw a fire show done by young thai boys, they were so young, but so amazingly talented. Then finally after a few hours of eating, when we couldn't move anymore, we went to sleep. On our itty bitty tv I watched Benjamin button before going to bed (weird movie) and then drifted off to sleep.
