1. Okay Sian said I should essay about what pisses me off so much about recent canon developments in Rictor's love-life, especially in #207! And I'm not going to. There's no real need to essay because I already knew Rictor wants to cut and run when things get hard and that he'll roll over for the slightest bit of affection because under the bluster and bravado he's a sad little boy who wants to be loved and doesn't like himself very much. He's very simple that way. The thing that pisses me off is that Shatterstar is really just this annoying completely new personality imposed on an older dorky character, acting a way that does not track with any prior canon and falling into that obnoxious 'lol those slutty bisexuals who just want to have threesomes all the time' stereotype. Which as a bisexual who has constantly had to fend off people assuming that stereotype is 100% true all the time, you can see how that would piss me off.
