Annaliese was more than ready for her close-up: she's growing like a WEED! And her mom tells us that she's a petite version of her big brothers. This was a session that sort of was and sort of wasn't. We'd planned to photograph Baby A, and her family too, for her first Milestones session. We photographed Baby M the other night at home. He was ten days old but already beginning to emerge from the newborn fog. It's amazing how fast that happens. It meant that we were able to get some awake shots, but also that he didn't want to be curled up for the life of him. And that little boy has some strong legs, so there was no coaxing. We spent last Saturday morning with little E, who was bright and shiny, as most babies are first thing in the morning (good thing we have one of our own so that we could accomodate that hour!) I shot Baby S's newborn sesssion at her home on Monday. She's just three weeks old (we were supposed to do it last week but she got sick) and is so calm and precious. We did some of the session in her bedroom and some in her parents room on their great big bed. It was a wonderful morning.
