Emma's Bat Mitzvah

Emma became a bat mitzvah last weekend, and we had the pleasure of being a part of her big day. Over the last several months of planning, we've become quite close to their family and so being able to be there and participate and watch her become a part of her Jewish community was an amazing thing. She is a young woman possessing an amazing amount

Great pictures as always. I really like the one of her dancing with her dad and the ones of her in the leaves.

That's part of the hora; pretty much everyone of significance goes up on one, and it often lasts for a good ten-fifteen minutes.

I love these. It must be cool to be a witness to so many milestones for a living.

That is, bar none, the thing that I love most about being a photographer. I get to become an intimate part of so many people's lives and moments. It's an amazing honor.
