The studio is open, after an immense amount of work (and a lot of help by others, including the fabulous people at
Madison's Grill and Sweet Masterpieces, who provided delicious food for our guests!), and we're back to day to day client stuff. If you didn't get to come to our studio opening, feel free to call us and see when we'll be there (we're by appointment only). We'd love to show it off to you! And if you're a client who has photographs waiting, I promise that they're coming. We're editing and proofing like crazy people so that we can get back up to speed.
Speaking of which: We've been doing a lot of senior and family portrait sessions lately, and I've been really struck by what I am blessed to do. These seniors we've been photographing have been gorgeous. I hope that they'll see that in the images that we show them. We've been working with such fabulous people lately and that's always my goal: for them to see themselves the way that I see them-- in all their beautiful glory. It's an amazing thing to be able to show someone who they are, who their family is, at the core. It's not something that we see every day. Life gets busy and mucky and seeing the soul of your family, or even yourself, doesn't always happen. But when people can get a glimpse of it while they're sitting in my viewing room... That is why I do what I do. Portraiture, in it's truest form, helps us to see ourselves clearly. And we'd love to invite you to "See yourselves through a different lens" with us sometime soon!
