A Snowy Day
Christmas was great. I actually slept in past 7:30 for the first time that I can remember on Christmas morning. Usually, my sister and I are up by 6, so this year when I woke up at 9...it was a good feeling. Christmas morning was fun...got some clothes, cds, books, poker chips (nice ones)..and stuff. That afternoon we went to my aunts house to celebrate with the fam. It was really nice. Katie was excited to see us. We had a nice meal and a really nice evening.
When we got home last night, Pastor John had called and left a message asking if I would be the lay reader for this morning's service. So I gave him a call, told him I would love to, and wrote the prayer for today. It went really well this morning. Everyone really liked my prayer which was nice. It is so great to be back at Crawford and to just slip right back into things. After church, Austin, Ashley, Tom and I went to the nursing home and delivered potsetas to some people there. It was nice to do that for them, although it was kind of awkward and the workers weren't very friendly.
I went over Brandon's for a while and played some Xbox...it was fun. Then I went to see Ray with my family. It was really good...Jamie Foxx is amazing in that movie, its like he is Ray Charles.
I have an interview on Wednesday for the subbing job and I hope I get it, because I'm going to get really bored if I don't get a job over break.
