Still, nothing to date has really driven home how some of us prisoners are not from Earth like meeting someone who doesn't know who nazis are.

Actually, I was living on Earth before coming here. Just... I was in a sealed off region in Japan, so anything about the outside world didn't really reach there for obvious reasons.

The only places I was aware of before coming down to Earth were Russia and the United States, but the Lunar Defense Corps never intercepted any communications from either regarding 'Nazis'. At least, none that I can remember...

Gensokyo literally is sealed off from the rest of the world. If it happened before I left the moon, it probably wasn't important enough for the LDC to notice.

Well, besides that, I've heard the possibility that there's alternate versions of Earth... what year did you visit the moon, anyway?
