And I Thought the Bruins Were Messed Up...
So, first there are reports that Theo Epstein has re-signed with the Red Sox, for 3 years. But apparently he actually resigned, as in stepped down. Also, Johnny Damon is a free agent, and Manny has demanded a trade.
I'm not much of a Red Sox fan, but the level of weird in Boston sports lately is even higher than usual, which is saying something. Bruins going out of their way to lose every game, Bruschi going back to the Pats less than a year after a stroke, and Red Sox craziness. Didn't one of the Celtics get arrested, too? Or did I imagine that?
And to top it all off, as Boondocks reminded me this morning WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE OF BIRD FLU.
Fun times.
