Latest Update, I just know you snoops want to know...lol!
First I would like to say, I miss all of you. I hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
I have really missed my friend, Cleta, who died in August. She meant so much to me. I have been dealing with her death and trying to go on with my own life.
I have been going to the gym nearly every day for my health and to keep my mind off other things. I have finally started losing some weight again. Taking off for the summer just about messed me up. So far I am slowly losing a few pounds a month, which the doctor said is good. That way I will keep the weight off.
My daughter is doing ok. She called me yesterday to tell me she was elected for a 5 week school camp. I think that is wonderful. The counselor said that since she has not adjusted since she has been there (nearly 2 years), plus being put back a grade (for no reason), it would be a great opportunity for her to catch up with the other students. She got depressed and behind on everything. I wish her the best and will still be able to see her on my weekends.
We are getting ready to move. We found a house in Indian Hills with a swimming pool, but backed out. The pool was nice, but the house just didn't make me comfortable, it was just too small. I want something that has over 2000 sq feet. So I am still looking at For Sale By Owners and talking to realtors. We are going to live some where in the Indian Hills, Sherwood, or Cabot area. I had rather live out of town because the houses are just to close together. I want some space..lol..
I was very excited to find that our house is worth a lot more then we paid for it. We found that the folks who lived here, who turned out to be drunks, were totally wrong on the square footage and acreage. So they really didn't know what they had. There was no realtor involved in the sale. I found the paper work square footage and acreage to be over what we were told. We knew our home was a bargain, but never knew to how much until I talked to a realtor to see what our house was worth on the market. That means we can find a huge home that is way behond what we thought we would ever live in. Plus pay for it and be out of debt...Yeah! I still would like to have a inground swimming pool, but if not, it will come later.
My friend Carolyn is getting ready to go to Dallas for her back surgery. She is worried, but I told her that she was on the prayer list at church. I will be sitting with her when she comes back home. She will need my help with meals, groceries and etc. No I am not charging her anything to do this. She is my friend.
