Quote of the Week: "I'm getting more and more nervous with each script. Please write to Kripke. Tell him not to kill me." ~Jensen Ackles
I WILL, JENSEN. I WILL WRITE A LETTER TO KRIPKE EVERY DAY! lol. No... not really, but how cute is this man? *Squishes him*
Ummmmmm... there's a lot of things floating around in terms of pictures, and i may have to go around and hunt those down again. There's some outtakes from Zachy's photoshoot as well as some new old Season 2 promo pics from Supernatural (THEY'RE SO TINY, THOUGH. WTF, CW?) I haven't caught up on this week's Heroes yet, although i asked my friend about it, complete with spoilers, so i know SOMETHING of what happened... I was watching it when it got deleted from the place i was watching it from. Total bummer. I hate watching it off of the NBC website, too, because of their STUPID COMMERCIALS. I tried watching "The Office" and it was a cute episode, as always, but the ads were SO ANNOYING. PLUS NBC has removed themselves from YouTube. AND decided not to renew their contract with iTunes. Yeah, idiots, no wonder your network is sucking ass compared to everyone else, despite your programming.
Today was turning out to be a pretty uneventful day until i read the newspaper and remembered tonight is "Pushing Daisies" :3 Someone wanted me to make that *points at userpic* into a print on DevArt. Ummmm... yeah... i don't think so? I'd have to remake it into a size that's print-legitimate... and... well... too lazy. x)

<--- may explain the weird dream i had a few days ago. But ummm... how hot does Nicky look on the cover of this? SO HOT. *tss* Jensen: "*AHEM*" ... heh.
IN FIRE NEWS
They had to evacuate a bunch of seniors the other day, and a few of them died of natural causes while they were being transported. There's only been one truly fire-related death so far which is pretty good when you think about it. Some of the seniors had to spend the night in their wheelchairs because there simply weren't enough cots for them, so that kind of sucked, although one elderly woman said she'd slept through the whole thing and was fine. Lady's got spunk. Most of the evacuees are in Qualcomm Stadium (where the Chargers play), and things there are going surprisingly smoothly. People are actually happy, and reports from there have likened it to being at a carnival or a huge tailgate party (because a lot of people are parked in the parking lot and not just in the stadium itself). I believe they've set up the high-end boxes as a temporary medical unit, mostly for people complaining about breathing problems. There's also a guy offering crisis counseling, but it doesn't seem like he's been getting a whole lot of business yet. They're trying to keep things as normal as possible for people, even having yoga classes and stuff like that, and showing movies to entertain the kids. There's been a huge outpouring of support, and they've had to turn away volunteers at least at Qualcomm.
Schoolwise, because we're an extremely study-oriented university (insert eye rolling here) people are already freaking out as to what a week off of school could mean in terms of what kind of information we'll be expected to know by the end of the quarter... and whether or not our Winter Break will be cut short because of the week we've just lost. WHATEVER, GUYS. OMG... I guess restlessness gives people too much time to think. As for myself, my Greek Lit paper's due date has been pushed back to Monday, and my Nutrition midterm is set for next Tuesday. Joy... I guess i'll still have to finish that paper by Friday ANYWAY if i want to get any other studying done. *sigh* suckage...
As for the fires themselves, the Witch Creek Fire is STILL at 1% containment. Harris Fire and Rice Fire are both at about 10% containment. There's a fire on the La Jolla Indian Reservation that has 0% containment, and the Camp Pendleton fire is still at about 10% containment.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR WELL-WISHES IN THE PREVIOUS POST! :)
