"Throw some cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese on that bun!"

Back by popular demand. You know something is wrong when JJ mentions that you haven't update. So its been about a month since my last real update, and since then, I suppose much has happened. Here's a long one; two Microsoft Word pages, actually:

So my last real update was the downfall wasn't it? Yep. I'm trying to just be good about it though. It hasn't exactly been peachy and it's still frustrating, but I'm trying to just be a good kid about it. So what after that? Finals, I guess they were okay. I didn't bother getting my grades on most of them. Just got my final averages. Like my 91 in history?! Holy Christmas Batman! That was amazing. Not to be overshadowed my Lyons screwing me over with a 75. First 70 ever. Thanks man. After telling me it would be higher. POOP! Second honors. Last day of school was okay though. Did a bunch of stuff for Mr. Conant (why am I still sucking up?) including chilling with him in the bat cave and organizing plaques. Which was clearly awkward because I had to close the door in order to get to the shelves, but sadly, he was funny and I had fun. Then a couple of us from the Sophomore AP history GP class gave Mr. Parker a cake and an amazing card. And chilled with him for awhile. LOVE HIM! It was a lot of fun. And saw Maggie's baby. She's so cute.

That day was also the embarkage day to SPAIN! In general, the trip was amazing. Obviously there were times where I was driven out of my mind, but it was great. Spain is great. Their cities are SO clean, it's amazing. The architecture is phenominal. Seriously, the US is like crap. So boring. Even the good stuff in like DC or whatever. Snoozefest. 2 nights in Madrid. Toledo was BEAUTIFUL. Took a picture with a matador before his bull fight. Pretty sick. I only remember the random stuff. Food is pretty good. I enjoyed having bread and olive oil for dinner EVERY night. And living off of bottled water and Pepsi. The whole trip i took over 1,000 pictures. It was insane. I've cut down to somewhere in the 900s, but I'm still trying to figure out how I can get them on facebook or whatever without having over like 10 albums. Its so nuts. Day stop in Merida where the ancient Roman amphitheartre or whatever is at, then on to Seville. I love Sevilla. Probably my favorite city. We did get lost, me my grandmother and my mom, but other than that it was okay. I got my bag. Obviously great. Also James the Penguin and Daniel the Bear had WONDERFUL adventures across seas. On the entire tour (like 20 something people) we were the only English speaking people (like other people spoke it...but brokenly...clearly not as a first language) and everyone was old. Except this other cute kid my age and his younger brother. Everyone was like 50 bazillion years old. Well, for the most part. After Sevilla, day trip to Cordoba then on to Granada for flamenco shows and Alhambra. Wicked pretty. I love crazy gardens and stuff. Baggage issues when we got back to Logan, the conveyor belt broke. Go figure. My bag was the only one there. Great trip. Great trip.

3 days later, I left for MBC. Just hoping the week would go by quick so I could get back home, which it did, but too bad like half a day in, I never wanted to leave. As usual. Still wishing I was there for sesh 3 right now. Still had issues. Pop girls chilled with the Joy Girls at the beginning, because obviously, that’s what they want, but then the staff realized we weren’t associating with the Pop boys. So in the epic memory, we were duct taped to a boy for a little. Did 3-legged races and wheelbarrow races and stuff. Awkward, but at least we tried. Tried to get better by the end, but wasn’t the best. I miss last year too. But this year was my last year, I tried to just make the best of it. I made great friends. And had amazing counselors. Amen. People I will never forget .Definitely want to be staff next year. 6 weeks. No question. I hope I don’t forget that. Mission Mexico and the whole Nine Yards. From being pranked by the Administration to be believed there was a bear under our cabin, to the new “fall out shelter,” and of course speaking at quiet campfire and obviously the best camp memory, Pop Privilege in the OTHER lake with the yummy leaches and gross lilly pads. It was an amazing year. Good way to go out…for the most part. We of course had our canoeing accidents and junk like that, but I miss it, and I love everyone. Can’t wait to go back when Michael goes, to talk to everyone and stuff. Amazing music this year and all that fun stuff. Pop Week 1 ’08. |L|O|V|E|.

So last week was basically a recovery week, moping around, wishing I was still at camp. (Wait, I’m still doing that…) Did random stuff. Hung out with Tim a lot. Marching band, but we don’t have to talk about that. Hung out with Ally and Dom for like 5 minutes…maybe a little longer. Saw Wall•E on Wednesday with Michael, Michael, Alexandra, and Tim. Kind of disturbing, but cute at the same time. Ate dinner at the MacDonald’s, hung out with Tim, then roamed with Ally after Starbucks wasn’t a suitable option. Worked a bunch last week. Yeah, I don’t really remember much else. Oh Friday, I went bowling/ice cream with Jessica, Ally, Vivian, Anna, Dan , and JJ. (All of those are Jessica’s people from Dedham, except JJ.) Me and JJ ran across the street before they got there and got us some Vitamin Water. Then we all bowled. Then Ice Jack, took our ice cream and chilled at the gazebo. Of course our comic relief of the night was when Jess Motta and Kelly McCabe came up to me and asked me to take a picture of Jess on Kelly’s shoulders. Of course they face planted right into the ice cream that had dripped onto the ground of the gazebo…very funny. Did AP Chemistry work last week. Still need help. Waiting for JJ, because I don’t know who else CAN help me. RAWR! Really need to get cracking on One Hundred Years of Solitude or I’m going to die.

This week hasn’t been too eventful too far. Nothing Monday? Tuesday I got a watch! It’s so cool, even though it was $5 from Wal*Mart. Hung out with Tim at Bird Park for a little before his driving hour. Marching band, I picked Tim’s dinner up (chicken parm sub) and me and JJ ACCIDENTLY ate part of it before rehearsal…except we told Tim, and he said none of the sandwich was missing, so I guess we’re good…=]. Rehearsal was okay. Pretty good actually. Yesterday I didn’t do anything. Tried to start doing college stuff, I mean did a lot organizing wise, and actually THREW OUT the junk schools I don’t want. (And by threw out, I mean recycled.) Got a list of schools I want to apply to and stuff, after I go SEE them. I got a haircut too yesterday, which unfortunately is depressing. It looks the same. I wanted like 4-6 inches off, and it still looks the same length, and when I said to angle/layer it, it looked liked she did while she was cutting it, but now it just looks BLAH like it always did. I NEED to start getting some work done today. Hopefully I will update more often.

Today is gonna be the day
That they're gonna throw it back to you
By now you should've somehow
Realized what you gotta do
I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do about you now

Backbeat the word was on the street
That the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody feels
The way I do about you now

And all the roads we have to walk along are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would
Like to say to you
I don't know how

Because maybe
You're gonna be the one who saves me ?
And after all
You're my wonderwall
