We're going to start blogging here at Live Journal. If we're going to take up space on the world wide web, we may as well use it.
Its been a weird ride but we are finally back on track. We parted ways with Astral and the cd we were trying to put out through them and are rewriting our history. Today we are playing at Double Door. It is a record release show for our first formal EP, "You Are Cordially Invited..." We are very excited about this. Its been a long time coming. The record is released via Fire-Tone Records. They are a small indie label in Chicago, but our cd will be available through Best Buy, iTunes and CD Baby to name a few. Or you could just come and buy one from us.
We are working on a new website. www.theredtieaffair.net We want to have it up to start the new year. We're also working on an acoustic ep that will be available only through MySpace. So, if you're somehow not on MySpace yet, come join the darkside with us.
We will be taking a show break through December and reconvening in January. We hope to have three new songs playable by then. We are cranking them out like there is no tomorrow or like we are Tupac and want to release a dozen albums after we die. Hopefully, we will be back in the studio by spring. We'd like to be on the road come March to support the ep, so if you'd like us to come to your town, please book us.
