So much to do so little time to do it

I know it's been awhile.... so let's recap.
I didn't have enough time off work to go to my grandparents for Thanksgiving this year. But thankfully Phil's grandma lives close, so I got to spend Thanksgiving with him and his family. Phil's family is awesome, and you can always count on Will (Phil's nephew) to do something funny. This year he fought with my puppy Luke under the table trying to eat any dropped popcorn when we were stringing it to go on the Christmas tree, and then he had fun decorating the tree by throwing the ornaments on.
The thing that wasn't fun about thanksgiving was that I and just about everyone else there got sick a few days later. Phil even ended up having to go to the hospital. It was only some crappy little 24 hour virus, but I had to work so it made being sick pretty miserable.
Today I found out something a bit disturbing. I was attempting to weather proof my apartment so that it won't be so damn cold in here all the time, and I found out that in all the time I've lived here my front window has not had a lock. It's weird I just never looked at it. Over the summer I never had my windows open because I either wasn't here, or I didn't trust people to not try to break in while I was sleeping. I had figured out over the summer that the majority of my windows were painted shut, and I spent quite some time trying to get a few of them to open, but I guess I never even looked at the front window. I tried it today and it was quite easy to open, especially since there was no lock. It kinda creeps me out.
Oh well on with life... there's too much to do
To do list in the making...
-finish Maia's quilt before 12-18-05
-find something to wear to Maia's baptism
-clean the basement, or at least the gross stuff on my washer and dryer from when the sewer backed up last week
-install a new lock on the front window
-finish weatherstripping my windows
-buy christmas presents for about a billion more people
-get photos ready to send to SIU for the exhibit
I'm sure there's more...
