I go back to Riverside tommorow, and start treatment again monday. If it can be said that there is one upside to this new treatment, it is that it wears off quickly. I've spent the last week or so sitting on my ass and recuperating as best I can, and occasionally hanging out with friends. I will be out of commision for about a week, so expect to see me up, about and online circa the 19th of this month. One of the quirks of this new treatment is that instead of the observation room I previously got on the fourth floor, they put me in ICU on the 2nd floor. It's mostly the same, with the key difference that I do not get my own phone number. So y'all can't call me. Furthermore, I'll likely be too out of it to make too many outgoing calls either. But I'll try at least a few of you.
My friends rock, cause large numbers of them are coming to the bay area for new years in San Francisco this year. My one hope is that I don't drink so much alcohol that I black out, cuz this one should be one to remember.
I saw Finding Neverland earlier today, which was a pretty good movie, despite being something of a chick flick. Johnny Depp is a good actor and can make even chick flicks good.
I got in touch with Sam of all people. Haven't seen him in years. He's doing well and living somewhere in L.A. He won't be able to make it to the party, but I'll get to see him Christmas weekend.
The only side effect that does stick around after I get back is heavy itching all over my skin. Really irritating. Nothing to do about it but apply moisturizer and take benadryl tablets. Benadryl cures everything.
