Epilogue: Together
“How long is he going to sleep?” Aiba asked and he touched Ninomiya’s face slightly. Jun immediately shoved his hand away with a warning stare.
“They said he would wake up soon.”
“The surgery was successful, right?” Sho asked with a relieved smile “I know I shouldn’t say this, but he was lucky.”
“Yeah,” Jun mumbled quietly “I’m not sure if he could accept it though…”
“He’s a tough guy, you know,” Sho said softly when he put a hand on Jun’s shoulder.
“So?” Jun arched an eyebrow and looked at Sho.
“So he would overcome it.” Sho smiled, and Jun just nodded.
“Thank you, Sho.”
Then Sho and Aiba waved their salutation when they left for going to Nino and Ohno’s house. Jun waved at them and turned back to Ninomiya.
“I’m glad that you’re alive,” Jun said quietly, he closed his eyes and squeezed Ninomiya’s hand tightly.
“R..eally?”
He heard the voice as an answer, in response Jun’s eyes immediately snapped open. Ninomiya also slowly opened his eyes and moved his fingers slightly. Jun’s eyes suddenly filled with tears.
“I didn’t know… that you were such a crying baby.” Ninomiya smirked, and Jun had no heart to smack him on his head, so instead he hugged Ninomiya tightly, made the other growl in pain.
“Kazu…!”
“Get off me, you idiot!!!”
“You came back!!!”
“Of course I would come back… IT HURTS!!!!”
Ninomiya squeaked when Jun touched one of his wounds, and Jun immediately backed away, his grin was still on his face though, and also he didn’t bother to hide his teary eyes.
“You will have to take care of me from now on!” Ninomiya warned, and Jun just kissed his hand gently.
“As you pleased, my pretty lovely girlfriend.”
“NOT YOUR GIRLFRIEND, STUPID!!!!!!!”

“I can’t believe I forgot it.” Nino flopped down on his bed, his eyes closed slightly. It was a week after that incident, and until now he felt like he still hadn’t got rid of it. He was still thinking about the whole situation that started with meeting Ohno until he found his memory again and also the fact that he had forgotten the most important part of his life. He hadn’t even remembered his reason of being born and living.
“You had a bad time, dear.” Ohno sat down beside him, and Nino moved to make him a space. Ohno patted his lap invitingly and Nino sprawled onto his lap with a content sigh immediately. “Everyone would want to forget those dark periods of time.”
Nino didn’t say anything for a while, and when Ohno thought he must’ve had fallen asleep, he heard Nino’s quiet mumble.
“Ohchan..”
“Hm?” He hummed in response, his hand subconsciously was petting Nino’s head.
“Am I… enough?” Nino lowered his voice, and Ohno couldn’t understand exactly what Nino wanted to say.
“What do you mean?”
“I… You know, I just think… You deserve someone better than me.” Nino mumbled, his heart pounded painfully behind his ribcage. “I… I had a bad past, I’m just a clone of someone, I’m not right being here… I mean, I was made, wasn’t I?”
“Nino,” Ohno said sternly, prevented Nino from saying anything further that could hurt his own self. “Nino, stop.”
He continued when Nino went silent.
“I don’t care about how bad your past is or you were made or anything. You are yourself, okay? I love you just because you’re Nino.”
He could feel Nino’s hand clutching his shirt tightened.
“You’re more than enough for me,” Ohno finally said, he leaned down and kissed Nino’s forehead lovingly. “Nino is more than enough for me.”
“Really?” A hint of a smile appeared on Nino’s face, and Ohno laid down beside him, his arms wrapped around Nino’s waist protectively.
“Do you want me to prove it?” Ohno grinned, and Nino’s face reddened. He snuggled closer to Ohno and buried his face to the crook of Ohno’s neck.
“How do you prove it?” Nino grinned into Ohno’s skin.
“Let’s see…”
And Ohno put kisses all over Nino’s face, his hands sneaked under Nino’s shirt. Nino shivered under the touch, but this time, he didn’t push back anymore. Ohno grinned like winning a prize, and he kissed Nino on his lips, with a sensation like reaching heaven.
When Nino kissed him back with his hands around his neck, Ohno didn’t bother to hold back himself anymore, and let them sink into paradise together.

“I think they don’t hear the bell.” Aiba complained after the tenth time he pressed the doorbell of Nino and Ohno’s apartment with no reply.
“It’s late already,” Sho sighed and turned back “We should go home then.”
“It’s cold…” Aiba mumbled when he followed Sho to the road.
“It’s winter after all,” Sho said and extended his hand. Aiba took it with a big grin on his face.
“Sho-chan’s hand is always warm.” He commented gleefully.
Sho just grinned.
“I’m glad that everything is back to normal.” Sho looked up the sky.
“You’re right.” Aiba nodded happily.
“You think we could stay happy like this forever?”
“Sho-chan is dreamy,” Aiba giggled. “There is no ‘forever’, Sho-chan. However, we will be able to keep our life happy like this as long as we live together.”
“You’re right,” Sho laughed. “I think now I know why I love you, Masaki.”
“It’s too late!” Aiba faked a frown, but then he grinned again “But that’s why I love you too, Sho-chan!”
And thedeserted road was filled with their laughter, when they headed back to their house.
