DAINIPPONJIN was a tv series parody that got a recent feature big budget film. It's basically Hancock but in Japanese superhero culture. He is the last of the Ultramen / Jet Jaguar tight giant heroes to fight the monsters and aliens that invade tokyo on a regular basis. He doesnt give a damn, he is most likely drunk and depressed and broke. DINIPPONJIN is basically the Tick / Venture bros with some noir Watchmen sentiment but instead of commenting on U.S.A culture it comments on Japanese culture by mocking and twisting it's superhero styles.
