13 GHOSTS OF SCOOBY DOO
Oh the Halloween memories... this is worth a watch for the season...
So weird... Shaggy and Scooby along with Scrappy Doo (in his only entertaining incarnation) head out on their own with Daphne as in this alternate reality Velma and Fred hooked up and left the gang. On a road trip they accidently open Pandora's box which unleashes 13 evil spirits. It's up to the gang along with new friend some little spanish kid and Vincent Price's head in a crystal ball. Yes Vincent Price. So for a season they hunted down these ghosts as well as 2 retarded ghosts ripping off Casper's evil brothers. And thus you have the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. This reminded me of the movie "13 Ghosts" (the 2000 remake of the classic 3d movie, a remake I believe only I enjoyed) where at the end (SPOILER!!!) the evil ghosts are set free and wander away. I remember seeing that ending and thinking ZOINKS!!! Shaggy and Scooby better get Vincent Price's head back in the ball.

And and for craazziiier memories of Vincent Price on kids shows...
The Intro to Hilarious House of Frightenstien.
In the 70's a twisted early morning kids show was born. From the mind of Canadian actor Billy Van, who Monty Pythonesquely played multiple characters of different genders. Billy played the green faced Dracula known as Count Frightenstien who with an over weight Igor try to revive a Frankentien's monster that never awakes. The show was basically Seasame street, multiple skits linked with a story about the count in between, filled with puppets and crazy characters that would teach kids the basics and covered the education with humor. But the humor was of a classic horror movie theme. Most memorable characters was the DJing hippy Wolfman that danced in pyschodelic lights and the Grammer Jabber who was a giant muppet that hit people on the head for using bad grammer.
And of course Vincent Price who quoted poetry and spoke in the opening credit.
