It's been a while
I keep meaning to write in here, but I think about it whilst driving either to or from work, and then, by the time I actually sit at the computer, it is at the far reaches of my brain.
I work at a truck joint now, checking out the parts, putting them here putting them there blah blah blah really truly boring shite. And I don't even get to daydream because I'm counting counting all day, oh well, at least my times table is not so rusty anymore. Er reality truly is a bore. I have my radar searching for a new job.
Vlad got his forklift licence, so he'll probaly get a more fun job than me.
On the good news front, my olds are coming down for a couple of weeks in about a month, so I'm very excited about that. Me and dad are going powertool shopping so that I can make some frames and cut my own boards - JOY! That'll save me money that I earnt from my boring job so that I can put it on my mortgage instead and duel with the high interest rates and what not.
Man I've been having fun painting.

oi Aussie coinage!
There's a few exhibitions coming up that I'm trying to get into, but they are 'invite only' so I probaly won't get into em, you know, me not being prestigious or however its spelt, enough. Oh well! One that I think that I will get into, is a showing at the Masquerade ball - yay that would be awesome.
I have All my paintings done for the masquerade ball (yay!)(oh actually, I have to finish off the castle painting but joy nearly!)
I have half finished a gig poster commission
I have done the sketches for the 3 angels commissions
I have an entry half ready for the Blake Exhibition (oh man if I got into this exhibition I think I'd DIE!)
I have no entries ready for the Port Art Exhibition (but I've thought about it - but have nothing still haha)
I have no entries ready for the Bayside Art Exhibition (but I know what I'm doing and yay I have the frames and canvas panels for it ready to go)
I have no entries ready for the Glen Waverly art exhibition (again though, I know what I'm doing)
NADA for the eutick memorial prize (again I know what I'm doing)

NADA for the other stuff of which I can't remember lol
Geez, what series can I do for the Port Art exhibition? I was going to do Steampunk, but I did two paintings, then had to wait so long for my canvases to arrive that I lost all motivation for the rest. My viking series keeps calling me but I'm keeping that until I have better skills.
HMMMMMMMM I look forward to brain storming it out actually. Need to get the commissions finished first though ARGH
