Has it really been ONE MONTH since I updated?
I blame it all on twitter. And work as well - trying to be on two places at the same time has NOT been easy!
Anyway, I have four weeks of new shows to review!
HIMYM: I like how the writers are handling Barney/Robin so far, and the first episodes of the season sure showed me what the last season was lacking: Lily and Robin. Especially Lily, who is a riot and always make me laugh! Allyson Hannigan being away last season due to her pregnancy sure took half the fun of the show - the other half being Barney!
I liked the episode where Robin and Barney pretended not to be girlfriend and boyfriend, and episode "Robin 101" when Ted taught Barney about Robin was also funny! The last couple of ones were only okay, though. That didn't prevent me from missing the show this week, though!
TBBT: OMG I LOVE SHELDON! TO TINY LITTLE PIECES! And Raj as well. Howard continues to creep me out, though lately I've been actually feeling sorry for the guy. Penny/Leonard do absolutely NOTHING to me though. Doesn't exactly irks me, but, you know, whatever, as long as it doesn't ruin the show.
Best episode of this season so far? The one where Raj worked with Sheldon to solve a equation to the tune of "Eye of the Tiger" - and Howard feeling slighted was FUN-NY! XD
Castle: OMG, NATHAN FILLION, HOW MUCH DO I LOVE THEE? This show is always a pleasure to watch - and a riot. Ok, the crimes solutions are kinda obvious, but I don't watch the show because of the mistery. I watch it solely because of Mr. Fillion - and this season possibly to Beckett's fellow detectives. Esposito and the other guy - forgot his name - are hilarious! The episode with the bet was HILARIOUS!
But nothing, I repeat, nothing beat this week's episode - MALCOM REYNOLDS WAS IN THE HOUSE! And no, he shouldn't give up on that space cowboy costume from five years ago! ;)
I continue to adore his interaction with his daughter. Also, I eagerly await for the consumation of Castle and Beckett's relationship! ;)
OH, Glee. Despite the fact that I'm counting the minutes until both liar blondes get exposed - although Quinn has grown on me, Terri is still a beyotch - I continually love the show. And the music. I can't stop listening to it! I always listen to it on my car, and I even have caught myself mumbling the melody or lyrics during work! Especially this past week's "Sweet Caroline", but also "No Air" and "Last name". And I NEVER do that to ANY song!! Sad, I know...
The episode with Kristin Chenoweth was funny! Loved the songs, her "duet" with Rachel was awesome, and absolutey LOVED "Last name"! I was troubled however by how Will seemed unworried with the Glee kids but insanely worried about winning invitationals and so forth!
"Vitamin D" was great as well - despite putting up with annoying Terri for most of the episode. Finn high on "vitamin D" was funny, and I gotta say the guys number was superior to the girls, IMHO.
But I gotta say one of the best episodes was the one when Sue was co-chair in the Glee Club. Jane Lynch is a goddess! Such a wonderful and gifted actress! Although Sue and Will were fighting like spoiled brats, I had fun with this episode.
And at last but not least, "Mash up". I knew we would see Puck/Rachel - as Lea Michelle answered my question on twitter back when the show finally premiered for sure - but it was not quite how I imagined. Don't get me wrong, I liked how they handled it, especially because it wasn't how I expected. And Noah singing "Sweet Caroline"....oh, man! The way Quinn was eyeing him and Finn eyeing Rachel...COME ONE, spill the beens, Q! Go be with your baby's father and let Rachel have Finn!
I do have to admit that despite the fact that Puck seemed to be a jerk in the beginning of the show - and Quinn wasn't such a sweet girl herself, quite the contrary - I have grown fond of them both.
Not Terri though. I want Will to discover her farse already, and before Emma marries Ken!
And now we have to wait until november 11th for new Glee! *sigh*
