it looked much cooler on paper when i drew it on paper this morning...
i went to jam with some duders today. It was kinda scary...now I'm in a bind...
should i play with this band? Should I bring my own songs into the band? I'm not sure if i like whats going on. I was under the impression that it would be a new project, but as things seem, i'd be joining their group rather than co-founding it. im not sure what to do...i'd rather not get involved just to decide i dont want to be a part of it.
in the past few days i've come up with the beginnings of a new song...if i can only remember how it goes...
I saw candlebox on Tues. It was probably one of the top 3 summerfest concert experiences i've had. They were excellent. very tight, energetic, and rocking pretty heavy. After the show the band members hung out near the t-shirt hut...just out in the open...with the normal people...not behind tables or railings or barracades. very cool. the drummer saw my jar of flies shirt and mentioned that he had talked to sean kinney 2 weeks ago about doing some sort of layne staley benefit concert. very cool. got a t-shirt signed and 2 guitar picks that were thrown into the crowd...that may have been among my top five concerts ever. very aweseme!
I saw Animation, a Rush tribute and yellowcard. I was screaming throughout the concert cuz i was getting bored and freaking out jumping and dancing all over the place. good stuff...
i may go play guitar outside summerfest tomorrow woooooeoeoeoeoeoeoeoeo....
