It's a short day for me as well. I'm ready to be out of the office for a few days.
Friends are coming for dinner tomorrow. We have a feast planned and after that we'll beach ourselves and watch movies!

Huzzah! Access gained to my account, so I can once again post as Spydie instead of Amy.

I'm still up in Maine and will be for a couple more weeks. My dad took a bad fall earlier this month and can no longer do all the things he used to do around the house. I'm here to offer moral support to myrna_bird (who doesn't have time to write/socialize this season, though she's been asked several times to come back) and help look after my dad.

T-day plans include missing my husband (who is back at home), watching the Macy's parade with my family here, and a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

This week has been awful.

Tomorrow we are having dinner with friends that are part of our chosen family.

I am just so exhausted. At this point, I just feel like all the fight has gone out of me and I want to curl up in a ball.

I am with you on that desire to curl up in a ball!! I'm grateful that it is warm under the covers. And, I have a sweet little dog in there with me. :)

I'm off today. Cable guy is here doing his thing. We're getting a new DVR. The old box was failing. We're having friemly for dinner tonight. About ten ppl are coming. ( kids plus friends).
