First day back at work from vacation, followed by several days off work and on pain meds after surgery (I'm fine). I apologize in advance for any bizarrely loopy GR comments I may make over the next week.

I just had the surgery yesterday morning, and I'll probably be spending tonight in the hospital. It seems to have gone well and the nurses say I'm doing a great job of moving around. No one ever seems to grasp my insanely high natural tolerance for opiates, so that's been fun, but otherwise I can't really complain.

Excellent! You know you're doing well when the nurses are supportive.

I'm doing well, thanks. Getting o er a very,very restful vacation due to coming down w/bronchitisthe within the first couple of days in. Got to rest in my room for seven days. So, yes,I'm doing well...time to sleep.

They gotta stop fucking around with my pain meds if you want loopy. I agreed to try oral meds instead of the pump thingy this morning, but of course those are at the dosage I've already told them is too low. This should be fun. xD
