The day of the vote! Who will rise and who will fall and who will be... well, still in the hunt?*g*

So who's entries have you been enjoying, and anyone have any big plans for the weekend?

That's true. I probably should come in tomorrow and get some work done, but I'm lazy.

I really enjoyed tulip_in_yellow's entry this time.

I am going to a party on Saturday.

How awesome are you?

Have fun Saturday! I'm going to a karaoke-at-the-bar birthday bash myself.

That sounds much more fun than my party.

I have "big plans" this weekend but no time to write about it.

I can't remember who wrote it, but I really enjoyed the one about the fear of shrimp. I love shrimp but it made my stomach turn! And lacombe's entry made me laugh so hard! There are others I really liked, too, and will be voting for them once I get them all read!

And if anyone missed it, I wrote an entry on terror, too.

I loved the shrimp one. That one is totally on my list for voting and I loved Lacombe's too, especially when he double bagged that bug!

Oh yeah, I liked the shrimp entry and said as much. That was a good one!

Yeah -- I like shrimp and I was still going "eeeww" at the end. Now that's good writing!

Lots of good ones this time around. Mulling on which ones I liked best...

Oh can it be me? Can I still be in the hunt?

PLEASE???

As for whose entries I have been enjoying, I am going to post a list in my journal at the time of the vote. A couple of them really, REALLY touched me and they got soul-baring comments.

[ok, and I was lazy with a couple more that I really liked and just said "good"]

No plans this weekend. Blues has to work, and I have to clean. Kids coming next week.

I'm enjoying them all, and my pretty star! Also learning to type on a Dvorak keyboard.

Oh, and as for plans. I was going to go to Belgium, but the strike deep-sixed that little plan. :(

Le crapola for your plans getting messed up. Hope things turn out well.

What the heck is a Dvorak keyboard?

A different layout. I've set it so it's Dvorak except for shortcuts and stuff. I'm back to QWERTY for a while, since I can't give it all my energy until after term paper season, but I've been meaning to learn for a while and figured a weekend without travel was as good a time as any to learn.

Interesting. I'm sure my work is probably one of those places where Dvorak wouldn't work.

And honestly, I've done QWERTY for so long, I'd probably go insane trying to learn a different layout. 'Specially since I touch type (yes, I can type with my eyes closed - but I won't claim that I am always typo free when I do. *g*)
