Well, as this is the time of year for Resurrections, perhaps Gary will let abigailendersby return for Second Chance Idol once things calm down.

PS: You're *DEAD* to me!

I've been busy writing! Not for idol though :/ thinking of taking a bye because I usually have some words down by now.

I know what I want to write, I'm just having a hard time starting.

NOOO SECOND!

D:. Oh well! I got back from Michigan Friday night. The full-day interview went great! There is one other candidate for the position, so odds aren't too bad. Then I got to play Twilight Imperium for the first time on Saturday. It's a very complicating inter-galactic 4x strategy game. It was really fun even though we had a guy bail on us literally 15 mins before the game ended. Our game took around 8.5 hrs, which is within range of a normal noob game.

EDIT: Third since I like typing so much : )

Good luck on the job front!

What is a 4x strategy game? How can you have so many strategies?

There are just 4 primary strategies : ).

Here is a definition yanked from board game geek.

Explore means players send scouts across a map to reveal surrounding territories.
Expand means players claim new territory by creating new settlements, or sometimes by extending the influence of existing settlements.
Exploit means players gather and use resources in areas they control, and improve the efficiency of that usage.
Exterminate means attacking and eliminating rival players. Since all territory is eventually claimed, eliminating a rival's presence can be the only way to achieve further expansion.

I've been trying to get a game going to Twilight Imperium going for a long time. It's hard because not a lot of people own the game. It's very expensive and currently out of print. I was finally successful and I was happy that I ended up enjoying it!

Fourth? Happy Easter! We will be exchanging Easter baskets (even though we are all adults - candy is candy) and are going out to brunch at a place called Natasha's at 11 this morning. Still pondering my entry. Still accepting ONE WORD prompts for a Tiny Rhyme if anyone wants one

I don't know about where you are - but the shelves of Easter candy are pretty much empty today where I am.. which means slim pickings for discount Easter candy..

I don't think they even sell peeps here.

Not doing anything special. I am pondering my muse though. Everything I've written for LJI seems to be dark and macabre or sad, I want to write something fluffy and funny. I thought I would try this week, my muse disapproved and showed its disapproval by creating apocalypse fiction.

Couldn't it be *funny* apocalypse fiction? :)
