Frist?

I'm really sleepy. I'm more than two-thirds of the way through chapter 9 of editing/rewriting. It all seems to be coming together pretty well so far. I have a huge project (for my "real" job that I get paid for) that I have to finish right the fuck now and I don't wannnnnna. Someone else please do it for me?

Yay Frist!

I'm sleepy too! I think I'm going to bed early tonight; it feels like a good night for going to bed early.

Aw. What kind of project? Though you've probably done it by now.

Second? lol

Kinda out of it today but better than yesterday, I think. I'm writing my book at the moment but after I finish a chapter/section I'm going to read some more entries. Some of the ones I read last night were really good. :) Keep up the good work, guys.

We're bunkering down for the Snowpocalypse. We've already got a couple inches of accumulation, and the "storm" isn't supposed to start until this afternoon. We've got supplies and know how to handle big weather, so I'm not too concerned. My biggest worry is that I'll run out of throat lozenges. (Well, that and that we'll lose power and I won't have internet).

I'm happy that I managed to get my entry posted--and that I got to share one of my stories from "the good ol' days".

Been reading and commenting slowly.

Good luck, and I hope the storm isn't too rough on you.

Should be good. I'm like a giddy little school girl right now. I think I've spent half the day staring out the window. :D

Such fun!

I know I'm watching the news and thinking, "man, I do miss snow sometimes. It's awfully romantic..."

Going to spend today getting the house tidied, school work caught up, and items put up on eBay (trying to get rid of a ton of crap we've got in the house that's been living in boxes for over a year now). This weekend I've got an Advanced Medical Life Support class that should be a lot of fun (my definition of 'fun' not really fitting anyone else's, of course.)

Sometimes I think I ought to do some eBaying of stuff... but it seems like such a crapshoot. Although I did have luck selling a couple of barely worn bras in very difficult to find sizes once--for more than I originally paid, even.

I've had people buy the strangest things off eBay, and for a lot more than I list the item at. And I figure that if I'm getting a little bit of money for it, that's better than trying to donate it, because the tax write off is typically not very worth it. Clearing space out and getting money-in-pocket is something I'm always happy with, because it seems like a constant struggle to find money to pay for school. There's some other things I'm going to be throwing up on Craigslist (speaker sets, that kind of thing) because they don't tend to sell well on eBay, but overall I'm quite thrilled with the degree of things I can get rid of and make money off of. I think in the last two months as I've been slowly making a concerted effort to separate things into "Keep, eBay, Goodwill" piles, I've managed to make $75 on miscellaneous nick-nacks.

That's awesome that you sold barely worn bras for more than you paid!

A few people have suggested to me that I should try selling stuff on eBay. For some reason, though, I can't bring myself to do it...I don't know, I keep thinking I'm going to get ripped off or something. Ditto selling something on Craigslist.

I usually donate and take the write off, but I do have a few items which I could probably sell for a decent chunk of change. I've never done it before, though. Maybe that's the issue

So sleepy. I got up at a ridic hour* to get my oil changed before work so I'm just sitting here waiting for it to be 3:30 so I can drive to Fernandina for the weekend. I'm helping the boyfriend move into his new apartment. I see lots of water and soreness in my future. MUCH LIKE WHEN I'M WRITING. (No, that's nothing like my writing, sadly.)

* Ugh, you guys, 6:45AM is SO EARLY. /whinging

I feel for ya. I unexpectedly woke up around 7:00, when I normally don't get up until nearly an hour later. Ugh.

LET US NAP TOGETHER. I should get up about 7 every work day, but instead I reset the alarm for 8:15 and just show up late. One of these days I'm going to turn into a good employee. I swear.
