Happy Friday, beautiful peoples. I got to have my first menorah-candle lighting experience last night. Took me over fifty years to get there, but I can now cross that one off my list!

It's been a nice vacation, overall. I love that my fiancee and I both work for schools, so we get two weeks off for winter break at the same time as our kids. Lucky.

And, Hanukkah was fun. I'm not a religious guy, but I love learning other people's traditions and history. Any time someone is engaged with their culture I feel a little disconnected from mine.
