Thank you for the kind words, Gary. I totally agree about what you've written about these other fine contestants, too - worldofcharlie has definitely improved in his writing, and sra33 is a total sweetie, and is definitely on my short list of folks I'd love to meet in "real life" (whatever THAT is)! *hugs*

Per mapquest, from here to Detroit is about 6.5 hours, so I guess it depends on how far (in which direction) you are from Detroit. =)

I'm about 2 hrs from Detroit but I dunno if I'd go that way to get to you. If I'm going down I-75, that'd make sense...

I just now found this entry!!! Hmmmppfft where have I bloody been???

The problem with some of my really good stuff - if it's really intense it's hard for me to continue writing it...Because of the intensity...

As I read Gary's criticism...at the end I end up writing about sex...sometimes when a topic's intensely on my mind (Carrie's the same way) it's just going to sneak in...even if we try to write about something completely different..

Well that's what happened...essentially...
