We got snow this week! Hey, I live in Georgia, so this is a big deal.

I finally started editing my novel. Woo!

It's about a kid whose pumpkin carvings come to life and haunt everyone he knows. And yes, it was a NaNo 2009 novel. It'll require a complete rewrite to do what I want it to do, but the basic story is on paper.

My fiancé is bugging me to finish my NaNo09 novel, and I'm bugging me to finish the NaNo08. I "won" both years but didn't quite get to the end of the plot in the first and the second was supposed to be a bunch of loosely connected chapters and ended up, well... developing a plot on me! How rude of it!

Living pumpkin carvings sounds like a pretty interesting story, if creepy!

Fighting off monkeys would cause you to break into a sweat...plus might have the added bonus of amusing my kids...hm...

After 3 days basically spent inside non-stop with 3 small children due to weather, any change, even monkeys sounds good.

Am trying to write my obituary (an assignment for Journalism class) Depressing to realize how un-noteworthy I sound on paper.

I was in broadcast journalism for a while. Sounds like you're taking "real" journalism! :)

I accomplish a lot by fighting monkey armies, including keeping warm, toning muscle, and gaining experience for my resume!

They aren't so hard to fight off though if you just start throwing bananas at them, they go crazy for bananas!
