Currently waiting for my rheumatologist to make an appearance. It’s my first time seeing her, and my appointment was 45 minutes ago, although the basics (blood pressure, etc) are done.

I’ve started my entry, but have otherwise fallen down the research rabbit hole, of things I’m interested in that are associated with my idea, but 90% of it probably won’t make in into the entry, lol! But that’s how I roll.
Congratulations! That delay sounds a lot like the experience I had waiting, waiting for an offer I accepted. Some places just have such long processes and/or folks are so stretched thin that they don't have time to get to things like that.
My entry is written but I haven't posted it because I'm hoping to have a friend look over it first. Otherwise just doing my regular old work.
Congrats, Overlord! That's actually pretty fast turnaround on an offer from the state, although I guess you are at least a layer removed from that.
People of LJ- please help me! Are there any LJ archiving programs that work with chrome OS?
I did a crazy thing a couple of weeks ago and went out and purchased (gasp!) my first ever non-mac laptop for the express purpose of trying to pull all my old ancient content off LJ to back it up. You know, in case. Yes, I am a fool for not having done any of that before now.
But also, I am a cheap, mother-of-needy-teens fool, so I bought the cheapest laptop type thing I could get my hands on, which is this weird, new, seems-like-it-should-be-a-mobile-phone OS known as chrome. And I am painfully ignorant at it. So I've been on a very bizarre walk down memory lane just block copying my entire LJ by hand and pasting it into documents. But I'm only back to 2017 because that's taking forever.
