Livejournal is STILL UP despite all the rumors that it wasn't going to be.
Putin is still a war criminal and a monster. (Hi to the all of the Russian government monitors that are checking out Livejournal. Because I'm sure that the social media of choice for major propaganda efforts in 2022 is Livejournal.) Love and support to Ukraine and to the people of Russia who DON'T support what is happening.
Let's see - what else... I'm back from my trip. It was fantastic. I actually felt a lot more comfortable being in New Mexico than I do Florida. Which could be because they are the second most vaccinated state in the country, who had some of the strictest rules for the last couple years - which is why they had some of the lowest percentages of infections/death in the country. Which isn't why we picked that state to visit. But is definitely a bonus!
The pueblos and reservations are actually STILL closed to outside visitors. Because they have some experience in how little white people care about bringing deadly diseases into their communities. With the BA.2 variant starting to spread, that's probably really smart of them.
