Good Morning Idol!

Where are you on your entry? https://therealljidol.livejournal.com/1173436.htmlHave you read any of the ones already submitted? Or are you one of those people who don't like reading what others have put out there before your own idea has manifested on the page ( Read more... )

Good change: new responsibilities at work! Which come with new challenges, but also indicate management's faith in me. It's likely I'll be one of the few folks to last to the end of the project, even.

Bad change: I lost my wonderful void-kitty, Morgan, on January 7th. The other two kitties (who hate each other) and I are still adjusting. I thought about writing my entry this week about losing him -- a black cat crossing the rainbow bridge -- but I don't know that I want to go there. I have other ideas that won't be so painful.

I have not read any of the entries yet! I am one of those folks who wait, for sure. If nothing else, it's intimidating to read a bunch of great entries and then go try to write mine!

So sorry for the loss of your precious furbaby! That's so hard! :(

I'm with you on reading. I need to have my own finished before I start reading anyone else's entry.

I wrote my entry on my phone but need to sit down and revise it on a computer. Hopefully I’ll do that tomorrow or Sunday. Probably Sunday since tomorrow is shopping and Covid Testing day before I have a medical procedure next week ( ... )

I hope you get as good of news as you can get from your test. I'm glad you found an oncologist who listened to you about that!

I think my husband and I are finally going to see Spider-Man on Monday. We've been trying for three weeks, but the first attempt was thwarted when the baby brought Covid home from daycare and the second was thwarted by the ice storm we had. So third time's a charm?

Thank you. I'm pretty sure genetic testing will come back negative, but I'd like to be sure before making decisions. If anything to feel more confident in my decisions.

It was soooo good! I really enjoyed it even if I didn't get everything going on. Hopefully you make it out soon. It was the first time in years that we had went to a theater, it was nice.

Entry is done and I've read everything posted so far! Looking forward to more!

I mentioned changes in my life in my entry. I can't wait until March 31 when I bid farewell to my job. People have asked me if I'll have a hard time with the transition and I can say absolutely not.

Other changes are the crazy that comes with training a new puppy!

Hope those who are in the middle of this ice storm are staying warm and safe.

Ragnar is an English cream golden retriever. He was born on Oct. 20 and we picked him up on Dec. 19. He's a good boy. He's almost all white with a tiny bit of cream on his head and between his houlder blades. He's very mellow for a puppy and gets along with the other 2 dogs. It took a while for Ragnar and Sheldon to find their places but now they are starting to be friends.

I’m working on an entry. It’s a process.

Changes? Nothing really change worthy happening around here. Grandpeople have changed every time I see them (weekly). It’s where they’re at in life as toddler/ preschoolers. The biggest change in my work has been the experience of tutoring The Criminal. I’ve never worked with a felon kid before. (It comes off his record when he turns 18.) He’s not remorseful either. Scary.

I worked in an alternative high school. They all have different amounts of time with us but there were 4 out of the..maybe 300 or so I taught in the process of those years that well, seemed...souless. It can be ...its a definite difference. Very chilling. TJ (one of them) ended up murdering B (a gentle student) later.

How old are your grand kids? You have 2?
