Green Room - Week 1 - Day 1
The door swings open, beckoning you into the hallowed halls of LJ Idol Manor.
The sign above the door, visible only as you cross the threshold says "Welcome Foolish Mortals" and your heart starts to sink, wondering what terrors will await you inside.
But look, someone has set out a banquet in the main hall. Candlelight flickers around the room, making you wonder if this place actually has electricity - and if it does, why someone just doesn't turn on the lights? Are they trying to make it spooky on purpose? If so, why then put out all this food? And why, counting the people who enter, and the available chairs - is there one fewer place to sit than there are guests?
That answer will come with time. But for now - Welcome foolish mortals to LJ Idol: 3 Strikes, your mini-season/torture chamber away from home!
The first topic will go up in a little bit. But until then, enjoy this Green Room.
For those who are new - a Green Room is the area performers relax in before going on stage. For the purposes of this competition, it's the name I give to the spaces that are just for you to chat and get to know each other. Catch up! Talk about whatever it is on your mind! For those new to this space, introduce yourself! For those not new to this space - introduce yourself so the newbies will have the confidence to do so as well!
