The first meeting of the Committee was yesterday. I was really nervous but got through it. I contributed more via email after the meeting. It's just easier for me. We actually have gotten the ball rolling for a corporate push to get everyone to add their personal pronouns to their signature lines.
Smallest victory ever. But it's a victory.
Of course almost immediately there was push back about how there are some contracts that do not allow people to alter their signatures. Which means this is definitely going to be voluntary... and like most HR initiatives, probably ignored. But hey, it's the start of something, and it's only the first meeting!
