In terms of topics...I have no thoughts about either of them (though when I was 19/20 I would definitely have identified with the first, ha!).

Anybody want to partner up? I have a bad feeling about possibly being the kid that gets picked last, given my nigh-elimination moments ago, but here are my thoughts on partnering up. If anybody wants to go for it anyway:

Neither topic calls to me much more than the other, so I’m happy to let you pick first and take what’s left.

I like the idea of collaborating on some kind of intersectional fiction pieces for these, where either entry could stand alone, but they’re stronger when read together.

I’d be cool partnering with a poet or song-writer for this, but probably won’t attempt poetry for myself for this. If a poet or songster wants to partner, I’d probably want to read your piece by Saturday-ish and write something fiction that is intersectional with it.

So, hit me up if you want to chat about partnering up!

Thanks, yvw, and sorry, wasn't trying to overstep - just wanted to avoid the hassle of folks who are still looking seeing that and thinking you were still available reaching out, as that would be a wasted effort for both you and them, though it's more nerve-wracking if you're trying to sort out who is left as you're busy with working and family and life and whatever... just trying to help out whomever needs it! ;-)

I like the pairing you ended up with - I think that's a good one, and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of it! :-)
