My entry is written, it’s just in editing. I keep tweaking it, and hopefully it’ll be ready in time.

We’re opening gradually starting on May 11th, but I’m not sure if that’s a good thing. It feels too early for me, and I’m a bit nervous about getting sick. I’m hoping my husband can continue working from home.

Speaking of my husband, one of his guinea pigs passed away today. She was sick for a long time and took a turn for the worst last week. She reacted poorly to the sedation needed for a CT scan - they said her heart and lungs couldn’t handle it - and she passed at the vet’s office.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of his guinea pig! Losing pets is so hard, even if you know it's coming :(

Thank you. She's been sickly from the day he rescued her - she originally came from a pet store breeder and it was clear she wasn't as healthy as the other ones he has (that came from trusted breeders).

sorry to hear about your piggie. They are such happy little creatures. I love when they squeak and popcorn. :)

Thank you. I'll be honest, I never really had an interest in them before. They are cute though and I see why my husband loves them so much now.
