I may be one of the people missing the deadline, but I still have a bye. It’s just too hectic for me, I didn’t remember the deadlines being this short. But I’ll try to push through... but I have to work today too. Sigh.
That's the perspective I have. When I was heavily invested in playing before, I was an unemployed stay-at-home mom. Now I work full-time and have a court hearing coming up and still have my kids (when I'm able to see them at the moment, since I'm avoiding my house as much as possible because my husband is there basically all the time).
Yeah, even when I was employed and playing, I had a regular 9-5 and could be off work in the evenings. Now I’m always working, and it’s also writing work so I feel guilty if I stop and focus on Idol instead of work, especially since money is so tight. But mostly I was unemployed during Idol, I think.
