Heh. Yeah, as far as problems go, there are much worse ones to have!

But for some reason I didn't notice that I was using the DW template instead of the LJ one! It's those simple mistakes that trip you up! :)

When my entries import into dreamwidth the google maps embed code never translates because DW doesn't support it, which I find really annoying. Their reasoning is that because their mobile version doesn't support the google maps embed or something they therefore declare it will not work in any case. I find this reasoning to be a bt obtuse... and they therefore inferior to livejournal!

Considering that they originally had the exact same Open coding as LJ until they tweaked (personalized) it - how can they not get Google Maps to work?

I don't know a lot about those sort of things, but that just sounds weird.

To liven things up around here recently I've been watching the "friend of friends" feed, and I've seen a lot of entries pop up there as people were posting them so I've been reading ahead that way.

I am me though, so I realized this morning I should have probably taken notes to know which ones I've read and what I thought :D So, lots of reading to do, again!
