OT3 OT3! XDDDDD
And now it's time for more Magical Stories of a Level 1 Run Trough Kingdom Hearts 2: FM+.
Well, a bunch of months ago, I went all "BRAVE KAI" and decided to attempt a level 1, no power ups playtrough of KH2FM.
Yes, it was a stupid move if you consider my style of play (Read: BASH BASH BASH THE FRIGGING THING), but my soul was requesting it madly.
So I promised to myself this time I would equip Guard, and try to get hit as little as possible, and use my brains for once.
I kinda failed, so I was stuck in Beast's castle with the ballroom possessed by the heartlessthingie. I didn't want to throw the controller against a wall, so I just stopped playing.
A few months later, I decided that I was ready to do it again, so I booted up my game and gave the fight another try (or maybe 20).
I won, surpising myself on my own use of my poor brain for something else than "detect weakness, bash weakness, heal". Well, actually that's because healing is out of the question, since at this point a Shadow can kill me in two hits.
And all proud of myself, and patting myself in the back, and saying I was amazing I moved on. And all was fine... But I had forgotten that ONE Timeless River fight. Yes, I know, many players probably remember that burning building, that panicking rat, and those CARS. I mean, just the cars would have taken long, but I could have won. But no, there were cars AND a timelimit. Curse you, game.
So I left it again. Quite pissed.
But I'm lame, and a masochist, so I came back.
I went trough Port Royal in a breeze, a painful breeze, but a breeze. I got better at "running the hell away" and I actually found Wisdom form useful. Yeah, those are things that only happen to thinkey people, I'm really growing up.
At this point I'm on the 16 hour mark, which is scary, since I finished my first playtrough in about 60 hours and that includes Ultima Weapon, all mushrooms, all data fights, Terrakicking, getting a Golden Crown and... And fusing enough items to have 103 points of strength.
I plan on going trough Halloween Town today, so I can get Magnet at last and make my issues easier. I also checked a guide and you get Magnet Splash (magical aerial finisher that makes sora turn into a human magnet and makes aerial combos that never end) as a endfight event, so I won't need to level up to get it.
So yeah, shockingly enough I am actually using magic for other than healing in my fights.
I also used limits for something other than seeing them be shiny.
And reaction commands. I used reaction commands.
