It would have been foolish to make himself obvious. The man obviously fully knew this. But there was something about the tall, thin, blue haired man that seemed to draw attention to him no matter what he did

So, Kamina was just enjoying his day looking around the city. If it could be called so, the city's condition is apparently worse than his old village, and that, actually, spoke volumes about the difference between this strange, above-ground, advanced village, contrary to the more primitive underground ones.

Of course. This being Kamina, he's a bit distracted, thinking about Simon, how life is apparently different for him here, etc.

...Yep, collision in 3, 2, 1.

Simon was barely able to keep his balance after barreling into the stranger. He steadied himself before looking up and--

Freezing where he stood.

A moment of shock passed over his face before he grinned. "Keep your head up."

"You keep your hea-"

Kamina cut off mid-sentence, as his head just turned to face the stranger's head.

...No freaking way. He can recognize that face anywhere, even if grown up. That, and the voice doesn't really help either.

Could it be?

"...Simon?"

Only Simon can make shocked faces that adorable looking. He laughs a little, sounding guilty. "I think you got me confused with someone else."

...Yeah, I don't think he's buying that. He's probably gauging you, in fact, right now.

He stuffs his hands in his pocket, amused that he's looking down on his older brother.

"Never heard the name."

[yellsalot]

He looks up, jabs a thumb to the skull symbol on the arm, and asked him the question.

"That's the Dai Gurren-Dan's symbol, isn't it?"

This one stops him. He completely forgot where he'd stolen the symbol from (and who they had stolen it from and who he had stolen it from.) "Maybe."

"...Where's your drill?"

...And out comes a question. Who knows what Kamina mean by that? But its definitely one thing Simon can answer.

At least, that's what he thinks.

Simon sighs and rubs the back of his head. "It's not mine anymore."

[yellsalot]

"Not yours."

Kamina seems to have accepted this answer with a silence. His face shows that look clearly. That disappointed look in his face. He knows that this person is the Simon from his world.

...But what the heck happened in between?

He shrugs, hands still in his pockets. "We saved the world, Aniki. There wasn't anything left for me."

[yellsalot]

"So you just up and left, was that it?"

Kamina asked. And yes, another simple question.

"Nothing left for me to do."

[yellsalot]

Kamina seems to contemplate this. And accepted the answer.

For now.

So, he's just going to look up at you.

"...Heh, looks like you're taller than me now."
